IDS Global, was founded in 2009 by Sam Williams, P.E, a licensed professional engineer in the State of Georgia, initially operating out of Hiram, GA, and moving to Powder Springs in 2014.
The company specializes in highway engineering design with emphasis on geometric design. Over the past ten years, the Powder Springs, Cobb County engineering consultancy and construction firm has grown from a one man firm, to 7-10 employees.
The company employs project managers who provide comprehensive oversight for Roadway Design, Utility Coordination, Subsurface Utility Engineering, and Construction of Small Roadway Projects. Additionally, our engineers provide coordination with design and construction related other disciplines, including surveying & mapping, hydrology, environmental documentation, geotechnical studies and structural engineering.
The company started in 2009 during the recession, as a family owned firm, with a father and his children, who are company engineers and managers. The company owners are thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for His continued blessings.
