Mr. Williams is a licensed Engineer, Architect, and Contractor, with over eighteen years of experience in transportation planning, highway engineering, utility coordination, and project management. The bulk of his expertise is in the roadway design, in particular the widening of highways from two to four lanes.
He is responsible for comprehensive company administration, project supervision, and plan production, including geometric design, staging and construction sequence plans. He also provides oversight and guidance for drainage design, utility coordination, erosion control, cost estimating and communicating with other engineering disciplines, consultants and contractors.
Mr. Williams has experience as a highway project manager overseeing GDOT projects, providing administration and management, Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) oversight, Construction Cost Estimating and quantity take-offs. He assures that projects are produced to applicable standards, including AASHTO, FHWA and the GDOT Design Policy Manual.
Mr. Williams is versed in highway computer software Inroads and PowerSurvey, and has experience in coordinating with other project categories including environmental, geotechnical, structural etc. He uses his experience as a licensed contractor to develop accurate construction cost estimates and project schedules.
